Black Panther Art Immersion
THE BLACK PANTHER ART IMMERSION WAS AN ART EXHIBIT DESIGNED TO CELEBRATE BLACK HEROES, LEGENDS, AND QUEENS. MY ART WORK “ELECTRA” WAS CHOSEN TO BE DISPLAYED AT ONE DROP INK DURING THE JEFFERSON STREET ART CRAWL IN FEBRUARY OF 2018. THIS PAINTING WAS ALSO CHOSEN TO BE DISPLAYED DURING THE BLACK PANTHER MOVIE PREMIERE IN NASHVILLE. THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME SHOWING AT THE JEFFERSON STREET ART CRAWL. I PAINTED A FICTIONAL SUPERHERO THAT I COULD RELATE TO. GROWING UP AS A TEEN I LOVED COMICS. ELECTRA WAS INSPIRED BY THE COMIC BOOK CHARACTER STORM OF XMEN. LIKE STORM MY CHARACTER ELECTRA ALSO HAS THE POWER TO CONTROL THE WEATHER. SHE USES BOLTS OF LIGHTING TO ATTACK HER ENEMIES AND SHE ALSO TRAVELS BY LIGHTNING. ELECTRA HAS A BLONDE ELECTRICAL HALO LIKE AFRO THAT MAKES HER DIFFERENT IN APPEARANCE FROM OTHER SUPERHEROS. SHE DEFENDS THOSE WHO ARE SOUGHT OUT TO BE DESTROYED BEFORE THEY GAIN AN UNDERSTANDING OF WHO THEY TRULY ARE THE POWER THEY HAVE WITHIN.
